July 27, 2024: Led by a talented technician in the Monk lab, Emma J. Brennan, we provide in vivo evidence distinguishing Gephyrin’s synaptic role from its enzymatic role. The viable zebrafish gephyrin mutant we generated can be great resource to the field as the mouse mutant dies at birth. April 14-18, 2024: Jiaxing gave an oral presentation at the 54th Annual American Society for Neurochemistry Meeting (ASN 2024) in Portland, OR. It was a fun time discussing research and future plans in unusually nice weather.
